The jury of the Roca Awards to the Hotel Initiative deliberates the nominees
This week the jury of the Roca Awards to the Hotel Initiative, organized by the magazine Gran Hotel Turismo, is deliberating the nominees for each of the 15 categories.
The jury is made up of: president Enrique Curt, founding president of Curt Ediciones; Miguel Ángel Almodóvar, food critic; Álvaro Carrillo de Albornoz, general director of the Hotel Technological Institute; Laura Curt, director of the 12th edition of the Roca Awards to the Hotel Initiative and editor of Curt Ediciones; José Ángel Preciados, general director of Ilunion Hotels; Vicente Romero, president of CIDH Circulo Internacional de Directores de Hotel; Xavier Torras, brand & communication director at Roca; Fernando Tomás Ginés, director of Communication and Promotion at Viajes El Corte Inglés; Joaquín Torres, architect and founding partner of the architecture and urban planning studio A-cero. Joaquín Torres & Rafael Llamazares, and Aurelio Morales, chef of the Cebo restaurant at the Hotel Urban.
The jury will meet on the 7th June at the Only You Hotel Boutique Madrid to decide the winner of each category.
The Roca Awards to the Hotel Initiative will be presented that same night at the Roca Madrid Gallery.
The Roca Awards to the Hotel Initiative, which were launched by the magazine Gran Hotel Turismo in 1993, and therefore celebrate their 25th anniversary, stand out for paying a deserved tribute to hotels and hoteliers for their contribution to a sector which is constantly renewing itself. Therefore, obtaining one of these awards entails an enormous prestige for those who work to improve the tourism industry, which is the main driver of the Spanish economy and which Gran Hotel Turismo, from Curt Ediciones Group, also belongs to.
